Music vs. beauty
The Ideagrove blog may be my favorite PR-related blog. It's beautifully comprehensive and well-balanced. Every day there's something to learn -- more there than I can absorb, regrettably.
There's a pointer today to a story from the New Orleans Times-Picayune about Ashlee Simpson. It's a knee-slapper -- you can't believe the shallow world these celebrities occupy and the lame way their "publicists" run around trying to control images (in this case, waffling between a music story or a "beauty" story). I would say God help us if this spills over into the business world, but in a lot of ways I think it already has.
