Wow, what a tizzy the Alarm:Clock has spun itself into. But it's a good back-and-forth about what some people, on both sides, think about the flack process.
If you're good at PR -- more accurately, media relations, a subset of PR -- journalists will love you because you bring good information that's relevant and helps them do their jobs and look good to their editors. Clients will love you because you help them get third-party credibility and amplification. If you drop the ball on either side, you get screeds like this one. It ain't much harder than that.
